Ride for Jim

The James D. Popp Student Research Fund has been established at the VCU Massey Cancer Center to honor Jim's life. Our goal is to create an endowed fund that will generate sufficient income to cover travel and living expenses for a first year medical student to do cancer related research following the first year of medical school, much as Jim did. The intent is to expose bright medical students to the world of cancer research with the hope that the experience will lead them to specialize in Oncology and pursue a career that incorporates cancer research and patient care.

All funds raised by Ride for Jim will be given to the foundation established in his memory at the VCU Massey Cancer Center. Please make donations directly through VCU Massey Cancer Center.
